SMARTNET National Patent Fair: A Dynamic Platform for Innovation and Commercialization The SMARTNET Project is proud to host the National Patent Fair (IP Fair) on April 25, 2025, at the Istanbul Technology Commercialization Center (BTM). This significant event is organized within the framework of the EU-funded project “A Smart Network for Technology Transfer and Commercialisation with Funnel Model (SMARTNET)”, led by Yıldız Technical University and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology under the Competitive Sectors Programme. The IP Fair will serve as a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, SMEs, researchers, and technology developers to showcase their patentable and innovative ideas to a wide audience, including investors, universities, and technology transfer offices. The fair aims to boost awareness of intellectual property rights, accelerate commercialization opportunities, and strengthen cooperation across Türkiye’s growing innovation ecosystem. The SMARTNET Case Study Panel and 5th AI Platform User Training brought together visionary entrepreneurs, investors, and tech-driven minds to explore real-life startup journeys and the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. The two-day event empowered participants with strategic insights, practical tools, and future-ready digital skills to thrive in the innovation ecosystem.

Technical Assistance for “A Smart Network for Technology Transfer and Commercialisation with Funnel Model (SMARTNET)” is a project co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye.  The Contracting Authority of the project is the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Affairs and the End Recipient of the Assistance is Yıldız Technical University.  The main stakeholders and partners of the project are İstanbul Technical University, Gebze Technical University and Hasan Kalyoncu University.
