SMARTNET Inspires with Entrepreneurial Insights (Case Panel) and AI Training V

On March 25th, 2025, SMARTNET hosted its highly anticipated Case Study Panel, which brought together compelling stories of entrepreneurship and investment. The panel featured Özgür Ançel and Bahadır Süzer, Co-founders of Buum, along with İrfan Karasar, angel investor and businessman. Moderated by Ufuk Batum, SMARTNET Team Leader, the session offered a deep dive into real-life startup journeys and highlighted the critical role of investment in scaling innovation.

The panel marked the opening session of the SMARTNET Artificial Intelligence Platform User Training 5, which took place on March 25–26, 2025, at YTU Yıldız Technopark Davutpaşa Campus.

Over the course of two full days (09:00–18:00), the training covered:

  • Day 1 focused on familiarizing participants with the SMARTNET system interface, AI-based acceleration platforms, and data security principles under GDPR. Hands-on exercises allowed users to interact with the portal, complete missing data, and explore reporting and data flow tools.

  • Day 2 shifted to mentorship practices, access to finance and investor networks (including crowdfunding and venture capital), and platform sustainability. A workshop facilitated best practice sharing, followed by participant presentations and feedback to support future improvements of the SMARTNET platform.

This comprehensive event empowered participants with both strategic insights and practical skills, reinforcing SMARTNET’s commitment to fostering an innovative, data-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem.
